Meet the Doctor

Dr. John Lemke

Fall 2018 (107 of 113)

A World-Renowned Education

Dr. Lemke attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and most respected chiropractic college in the world.

He had the great experience of attending with students from 11 different countries, and had classmates from nearly every state in the union. The challenging course load proved even more demanding than Dr. Lemke had expected. Many of his instructors from Palmer played a large part in shaping who he is as a chiropractic physician today.

A Scientific Practice Philosophy

Dr. Lemke’s practice habits are evidence-based. So many more illnesses than just back or neck pain can benefit from chiropractic care. His own children are often helped back to health from sicknesses like the common cold from chiropractic care.

He also knows that medication has a place in our health care system, and takes medicine daily himself to help with asthma attacks that used to plague him 2-3 times per day.

His family is vaccinated with the usual immunizations and takes antibiotics when needed. Practicing as a multidisciplinary chiropractor is fundamental to his belief system.

Living a Healthy Family Life

Dr. Lemke and his wife Neva have 3 boys and 5 girls. They love the Quad Cities and are active in the local community.

Their children are their life and Dr. Lemke hopes to extend the care he gives to his own family to the families in his community.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Lemke stays busy coaching two basketball teams, football, and soccer. His wife is a Girl Scout troop leader and they are active church members.

Dr. Lemke is very active playing basketball as well as coaching and both he and Neva practice the importance of regular exercise to maintain healthy living.
